Psychology for Film & Creative Work

Psychology and stress education designed for people working in film, arts, and creative industries.

Since 2019, I’ve supported filmmakers, producers, writers, and creative teams across Europe helping them understand their nervous system, navigate uncertainty, and build sustainable ways of working in high-pressure environments.

My work is practical, warm, and grounded in science, made specifically for the emotional and physical demands of creative work.

Most mental health advice doesn’t translate to the realities of this industry.
My work does.

I help people understand what’s happening in their nervous system, why creative work activates certain stress patterns, and how to stay steady, clear, and resourced through the full arc of a project or production.

MY APPROACH

Creative work is vulnerable work.
It often involves uncertainty, exposure, intimate collaboration, and emotional investment — all of which shape the nervous system.

My approach brings together:

  • psychology

  • neuropsychology

  • nervous system education

  • storytelling science

  • practical, real-world strategies

  • years of firsthand experience in film environments

I teach tools that work inside the realities of film and creative production.

The goal is simple:
For work to feel emotionally manageable, sustainable, enjoyable and grounded.

  • workshop participant

I loved everything about the workshop. I left feeling enlightened, curious, and moved. It opened up a space for reflection and unexpected realizations. The insights were also so practical that I jumped right into applying what we’d learned—and I’ve been sharing the experience with friends and colleagues ever since.

  • Course Paricipant

Katherine's sessions and the one on one were completely life changing. I'm still shocked by how practical and simple she could made us understand something so deeply rooted and complicated. My vision on my own stress has radically shift, and with it my quality of life and the worth of my work. I can't thank you enough.

  • Audience Memebr

This really shone a light on things we all deal with, but nobody talks about. Concise and practical. And she's also quite funny! :)
